Greg Stewart, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director has over 20 years' experience in construction project management and extensive experience negotiating government contracts. Mr. Stewart founded Stewart Contracting, Inc. in 1992 and steadily grew his company in scope, scale and sales. When United Mine Services acquired Stewart Contracting in 2007, Mr. Stewart's abilities and expertise were regarded so highly that he was requested to stay on as the CEO of the entire organization.
Erik Panke, Controller joined UMS in 2007. He has more than 20 years of experience as a Senior Manager of Buisiness Administration on engineering and construction projects throughout the Unite States. Prior to joining UMS, Mr. Panke worked for Washington Group International, a multi-billion dollar engineering, construction, contract mining and program management firm. In that capacity, Mr. Panke was responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting on projects ranging from $1 million to more than $1 billion. His responsibilities have spanned the continental U.S., Hawaii and the South Pacific.
Steve Ivie, Underground Mining Manager is a Silver Valley native who joined UMS in 2008. He co-founded Coeur d'Alene Contract Mining (CCM) along with Mr. Jeff Lambert. Mr. Ivie has more than two decades of experience in the mining industry with expertise in drift, ramp and track mining. He has extensive contacts throughout the industry and prior to joining UMS he worked for Galena Mine, The Bunker Hill Mine, Sunshing Mining Co. and Atlas Mining.
Jeff Lambert, Underground Mining Manager is a co-founder Coeur d'Alene Contract Mining (CCM), an underground contract mining company which merged with UMS in 2008. Mr. Lambert, a silver valley native, has more than 20 years of experience in all phases of underground mining. He studied Business Management at North Idaho College. Prior to forming CCM, Mr. Lambert worked for Stillwater Mining, Homestake Mining, Galena Mine and Sunshine Mining Co.
Mark Fralich, Director of Marketing and Corporate Development joined UMS in 2008 and brings extensive sales, marketing, business development and investor relations experiences to the team. Prior to joining UMS, Mr. Fralich worked for Mines Management, Inc., in investor relations and conducted "Precious Metals and Investment Seminars" throughout the U.S. He was co-founder of Spoval Fiber Optics and grew it into a multi-million dollar company. He previously worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Telect. Inc., and spent 12 years with The Associated Press news service.
Brett Sauer, Contracting Services Manager joined Stewart Contracting in 2001 and has more than 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction and environmental remediation. He has managed UMS's annual yard remediation program for the past two years. Prior to joining UMS, Mr. Sauer worked as a subcontractor for ERI and as an operator for Morrison Knudsen on the Bunker Hill Superfund clean up project.
